To open the Festival, Héloïse Gaillard (flautist) and Eleanor Lewis (gambist), two musicians with international careers, join the incredible adventure launched in 2021. On the programme: Couperin, Purcell and the greatest Baroque composers.
Chefs René & Maxime Meilleur have created a tasting menu with food and wine pairings that mirror the musical works performed at the same time as the food and wine are served.
As an extension of the musical journey, a sensory (taste, touch, smell...) and essential (quest for meaning, spirit) journey is born. Meditative music leads to cerebral dishes and wines. Invigorating music is a dialogue between dishes and wines that are full of depth. From finesse to power, from silkiness to carnality, from contemplation to jubilation, from immediate pleasure to spiritual elevation... music, culinary ideas and great wines interact, harmonise and confront each other to forge a total art.
